نبذة مختصرة عن السيرة الذاتية
لفضيلة الشيخ العلامة محمد بن صالح العثيمين
رحمه الله تعالى
1347هـ - 1421هـ



الشيخ محمد بن عثيمين ذلك العالم الجليل والمربي الفاضل والقدوة الصالحة في العلم والزهد والصدق والإخلاص والتواضع والورع والفتوى .
هو شيخ التفسير والعقيدة والفقه والسيرة النبوية والأصول والنحو وسائر العلوم الشرعية .
هو العالم الداعي إلى الله على بصيره الذي انتفع بعلمه المسلمون في شتى أنحاء العالم الإسلامي والذي أجمعت القلوب على قبوله ومحبته وفضله وعلو مرتبته .
هو فضيلة شيخنا فقيد البلاد والأمة الإسلامية العلامة محمد بن صالح العثيمين - رحمه الله رحمة واسعة وأسكنه الفردوس الأعلى مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقاً.

ملامح من مناقبه وصفاته الشخصية:
كان الشيخ رحمه الله تعالى قدوة صالحة ونموذجاً حياً فلم يكن علمه مجرد دروس ومحاضرات تلقى على أسماع الطلبة وإنما كان مثالاً يحتذى في علمه وتواضعه وحلمه وزهده ونبل أخلاقه.
تميز بالحلم والصبر والجلد والجدية في طلب العلم وتعليمه وتنظيم وقته والحفاظ على كل لحظة من عمره كان بعيداً عن التكلف وكان قمة في التواضع والأخلاق الكريمة والخصال الحميدة وكان بوجهه البشوش اجتماعياً يخالط الناس ويؤثر فيهم ويدخل السرور إلى قلوبهم ترى السعادة تعلو محياه وهو يلقي دروسه ومحاضراته - رحمه الله تعالى - .
كان رحمه الله عطوفاً مع الشباب يستمع إليهم ويناقشهم ويمنحهم الوعظ والتوجيه بالرفق واللين والإقناع .
كان حريصاً على تطبيق السنة في جميع أموره.

وفاته رحمه الله تعالى:

إن القبول في قلوب الناس منة عظيمة من الله تعالى لمن يشاء من عباده، ولقد أجمعت القلوب على محبته وقبوـله وإنا لنرجو الله سبحانه وتعالى متضرعين إليه أن يكون الشيخ ممن قال النبي صلى لله عليه وسلم: إذا أحب الله العبد نادى جبريل أن الله يحب فلاناً فأحبه فيحبه جبريل فينادي جبريل في أهل السماء: إن الله يحب فلاناً فأحبوه، فيحبه أهل السماء ثم يوضع له القبول في أهل الأرض .
وخلّف -رحمه الله- خمسة من البنين هم عبد الله وعبد الرحمن وإبراهيم وعبد العزيز وعبد الرحيم، جعل الله فيهم الخير والبركة والخلف الصالح. وبوفاته فقدت البلاد والأمة الإسلامية علماً من أبرز علمائها وصلحاء رجالها الذين يذكروننا بسلفنا الصالح في عبدتهم و نهجهم وحبهم لنشر العلم ونفعهم لاخوانهم المسلمين.
نسأل الله تعالى أن يرحم شيخنا رحمة الأبرار ويسكنه فسيح جناته وأن يغفر له و يجزيه عما قدم للإسلام والمسلمين خيراً ويعوض المسلمين بفقده خيراً والحمد لله على قضائه وقدره وإنا لله وانا إليه راجعون وصلى الله وسلم وبارك على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وأصحابه ومن اتباعه بإحسان إلى يوم الدين .
